MONTH OF THE HOLY ROSARY:
Wednesday this week starts October which is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Why not try and come along to our Rosary Group each weekday morning at 9.30am during this month and pray for peace in the world and your own intentions. If you cannot manage please say a Rosary at home.
FIRST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH – EXPOSITION OF BLESSED SACRAMENT
There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday 2nd October, after the 10.00am Mass until 12 noon. We are asked to come and pray for vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life.
PAUSE FOR HOPE: An Ecumenical Service for all people affected by Cancer. Sunday 26th October at 4pm in Croftfoot United Free Church, 349 Carmunnock Road, G44 5HH. Reflection by Rev Leslie Edge, Chaplain to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. You will hear of the work of the Hospice and a collection will be taken up for the vital work of the Hospice. You will have the opportunity to light a candle and leave a prayer intention for yourself or people you know who have been affected by cancer. Please join us for refreshments, information and chat afterwards. All welcome.
THE MEN OF ST JOSEPH: The Men of St Joseph wish to invite all men over the age of 18 to join them for monthly fellowship meetings, including the Rosary and Lectio Divina. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17. Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month. The next meeting is 2nd October, 7:30-9pm, in the, The Ogilvie Centre, St Aloysius, 25 Rose Street, Glasgow G3 6RE. Contact:
AGAP THEATRE NATIONAL TOUR: "Pilgrim of Hope", a solo comedy play inspired by the letter of Pope Francis for the Jubilee Year. Written and performed by Stephen Callaghan. Following great reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, the production is touring parishes and schools. Glasgow shows on Thursday 2nd October at 7.30pm in St Bernard's, South Nitshill and Friday 14th November in Sacred Heart Church Hall, Cumbernauld.
