SEA SUNDAY 2026: Next Sunday, 12th July, is SEA SUNDAY when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. Your support will make a big difference to seafarers and fishers in need. Community Outreach Worker. Together We Make Maryhill (TWMM) is a successful and innovative partnership between Maryhill Ruchill Parish and the Immaculate Conception Parish, now in its fourth year. Could you be part of something different? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to make a difference to the lives of the people of Maryhill and beyond. 17.5 hrs per week, initially for 1 year. Ecumenical Prayer Service on the occasion of the Commonwealth Games: Glasgow Churches Together and Run the Race Glasgow. To mark Glasgow’s welcome to the Commonwealth Games and to pray for unity, friendship and peace among all peoples. Sunday, 26th July 2026 at 3.00 pm in St Andrew’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Clyde Street. Church Leaders, Civic Leaders, representatives of the Trades House and Merchants House, congregations, athletes and their families are warmly invited to attend. PEREGRINATIO PRO CHRISTI (Travelling for Christ): Every year some members of the Legion of Mary volunteer to take part in a Peregrinatio Pro Christi project (PPC) to another country. Scotland was given the responsibility of helping with evangelisation in Finland. It was so successful they are returning again this year. It can often be very difficult work and is supported by the many prayers being said by those at home. We would like to invite you to pray for this project which concludes on Thursday 23rd July.
RADIO MARIA UK Now Broadcasting Across Scotland: Radio Maria UK, a Catholic radio station providing prayer, catechesis, music, and faith-filled conversation twenty-four hours a day, has launched a major new DAB signal reaching up to 70% of Scotland's population, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and the central belt. Listeners across Scotland can now tune in on any DAB digital radio, through smart speakers by asking for "Radio Maria," or by downloading the free Radio Maria Play app on their phone or tablet.
