TODAY IS WORLD DAY OF PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS WHEN WE ARE ASKED TO PRAY FOR VOCATIONS TO THE PRIESTHOOD AND RELIGIOUS LIFE.
SPECIAL COLLECTION: THE SECOND COLLECTION TODAY WILL BE TAKEN UP FOR ECCLESIASTICAL STUDENTS PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS: The Polish children (Igor; Natalia; Alexandra; Mia; Zoe; Tomasz; Patrycja; Zuzanna; Katarzyna; Wiktor; Antoni; Lilli; Kacper; Dawid; Maja; Anthony; Sara; Olga; Filip) make their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 2nd May and the children from St. Denis’ Primary School (Gracie; Orlagh; Alicja; Jayden; Kimberly; Filip; Phaileigh; Leo) will make their First Holy Communion on Sunday, 3rd May. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Pray in May with Mary’s Meals: Mary’s Meals – named after Mary, the mother of Jesus – is a mission built on a foundation of prayer. Today more than three million precious children will receive life-changing school meals in 16 of the world’s poorest communities thanks to the prayers and generosity of our supporters and volunteers. St Margaret of Scotland Youth Group 50th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner: Saturday 9th May at the Raddison Blu, Glasgow. Join the SMSYG as they celebrate their 50th year of assisting the Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage. Tickets are £65. Drinks reception, 3-course meal, music and dancing. 6.30pm-late.
