TODAY IS WORLD COMMUNICATIONS DAY AND THE SECOND COLLECTION WILL BE TAKEN UP FOR THIS PURPOSE. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY. A PASTORAL LETTER WILL ALSO BE READ OUT AT ALL MASSES.
IMPORTANT: Please note there will be Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st May. Mass will be on Monday 18th and Friday 22nd.
Pro-Life Mass: The monthly Pro-Life Mass is on Wednesday, 20th May at 7.30pm at Holy Cross, 113 Dixon Ave, G42 8ER. Adoration begins at 6.15pm. Tea in the hall afterwards – all welcome. The celebrant will be Canon Peter McGarry.
ASN : On the evening of Monday 1st June at 5.15pm, Archbishop Nolan will celebrate in the Cathedral the annual Mass for Catholic children and young people in the Archdiocese who have special educational needs. All of the ASN schools and units in the area of the Archdiocese will be informed of the event and will be asked to pass on the invitation to pupils, their parents, their carers and school staff. Perhaps you could encourage your Catholic pupils and staff to attend. You may have children and young people in your parish with special needs, maybe you could remind them and their families of the invitation to attend the Mass. It has always been a very special event, a happy and uplifting occasion, celebrating the gifts of our children and young people and affirming their parents, carers and teachers in the wonderful care, support and love they offer. There will be tea/coffee/juice after the Mass.
Charismatic Renewal: The Glasgow Service of Communion of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal invites you for a Weekend of Renewal.
