Feast Days this week: Wed. 13th: Our Lady of Fatima
On the evening of Monday 1st June at 5.15pm, Archbishop Nolan will celebrate in the Cathedral the annual Mass for Catholic children and young people in the Archdiocese who have special educational needs. All of the ASN schools and units in the area of the Archdiocese will be informed of the event and will be asked to pass on the invitation to pupils, their parents, their carers and school staff.
Perhaps you could encourage your Catholic pupils and staff to attend. You may have children and young people in your parish with special needs, maybe you could remind them and their families of the invitation to attend the Mass. It has always been a very special event, a happy and uplifting occasion, celebrating the gifts of our children and young people and affirming their parents, carers and teachers in the wonderful care, support and love they offer. There will be tea/coffee/juice after the Mass.
