WEEKLY BULLETIN: 4th JANUARY 2026 (THE EPIPHANY OF OUR LORD)

‘TODAY WE CELEBRATE THE FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD, WHEN THE THREE KINGS COME TO SEE THE BABY JESUS, BRINGING THEIR GIFTS.  THESE GIFTS RECOGNISE THAT THE CHRIST-CHILD IS GOD (Frankinsence); THAT HE IS A KING (gold); THAT HE HAS COME TO DIE FOR US (Myrrh).’

SPECIAL COLLECTION:  TODAY THE SECOND COLLECTION WILL BE TAKEN UP FOR JUSTICE AND PEACE.  PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.  THANK YOU. A letter will be read out at all Masses today.

CHRISTMAS CRIB. – ST.MARGARET’S CHILDREN AND FAMILY CARE SOCIETY.  ALL DONATIONS PUT IN THE ANGEL AT THE CRIB WILL BE GIVEN TO HELP WITH THE WORK THEY DO.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS:  It would be nice to see a few more people at our weekday Masses.  Maybe during this new year try and come to one of our masses during the week and help boost attendances.

ASSISTED DYING BILL: This bill will soon be coming up again at our Parliaments.  Please offer up prayers that our MPs and MSPs make the right decision for all.  If you want to help please contact your local MP or MSP and let them know your views on this matter.
