GOODBYE FROM FR. LESZEK Thank you all for the wonderful 5 years (and previous 2 years 2013-15) here at St. Anne's in Glasgow in Scotland. This week will be my last days here in our Parish before I go to take up my new post in Dunstable and Milton Keynes in England.  13th September is my last Sunday, however,  I will remain here until the coming of new Parish Priest - Fr. SPECIAL COLLECTION IN AID OF SPRED: There will be a special collection next weekend for SPRED, the charity which supports parishioners, both adults and children, who have a learning disability to grow in their Catholic faith. The annual collection is a large part of SPRED’s income, so anything you can give will be gratefully received.

 VENERABLE MARGARET SINCLAIR ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE:  St Patrick’s Church, 5 South Gray's Close, Edinburgh, EH1 1TQ on Sunday, 20 September 2026. The programme Is as follows: 1:30 pm Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament; 3 pm devotion to Venerable Margaret Sinclair with reflection by Canon Jock Dalrymple, presentation of petitions and Novena Prayer; 4:30 pm Archbishop Cushley will preside at the Eucharist. The Sacrament of Re conciliation will be available throughout the day. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided

THE BEGINNING EXPERIENCE: The Beginning Experience are holding a weekend for those who find themselves suffering bereavement through divorce, separation or widowhood.  The weekend will take place from 16th – 18th October at the Conforti Centre, Coatbridge. FEAST DAYS THIS WEEK: Tues. 8th: The Nativity of Our Lady (Feast)

ST. JUDE 2027: Bookings are now open for the pilgrimage. There are limited places for pilgrims who wish to travel by luxury coach. Overland travel departing Sunday 13th June, returning to Glasgow Sunday 20th June 2027. Travel by air departing UK Monday 14th June 2027 returning Saturday 19th June 2027.. Cost for overland travel is £615.00 per person based on sharing with one or more persons.  A deposit of £200 is required to secure the booking. Accommodation cost for persons travelling by air is £415.00 per person based on two or more sharing five nights.
