WEEKLY BULLETIN 12th October 2025 (28th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR)
Sunday 12 October – Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday when we are called by Pope Leo to be "Missionaries of Hope". We can do this by being part of the Church's missionary efforts, supporting missionary priests, religious sisters and brothers, and lay catechists who provide hope to those most in need. Let us pray for the Church's missionary work and offer our financial support through Missio Scotland for our Catholic brothers and sisters in mission countries.
Pro-Life Mass: The monthly Pro-Life Mass will take place on Wednesday, 15th October at 7.30pm at Holy Cross, 113 Dixon Ave, G42 8ER. Adoration begins at 6.15pm. Tea in the hall afterwards – all welcome. The celebrant will be Canon Gerard Conroy.
CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION: Almost 11 million unborn lives have been stolen by abortion since the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act. Please attend SPUC’s Candlelight Procession to ensure these precious lives are not forgotten. On Thursday 30th October, SPUC's Candlelight Procession will leave John Street at Glasgow City Chambers at 6:30pm, heading toward St Andrew's Cathedral. There will then be the praying of the Rosary in the Cathedral at 7pm, followed by Mass at 7:30pm.
A Rachel's Vineyard Retreat for spiritual and emotional healing after abortion will be held in Glasgow on Monday, 27th to Wednesday 29th October. This confidential, supportive retreat is powerful for anyone who has been affected by their own or someone else’s abortion experience. For more information, please call/text Sr. Andrea on 07816 942824 or email at
