WEEKLY BULLETIN –20th SEPTEMBER 2026– (25th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR)
WE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME FR. GRZEGORZ KOZIENSKI (Fr. Greg), our new parish priest. We hope he will be happy here in St. Anne’s and look forward to getting to know him.
ASSISTED DYING BILL: A big thank you to everyone who signed letters to our local MP to stop this Bill going through. Although the Bill has been stopped for now, we must keep praying for it to continue that way.
YOUNG CARITAS SCOTLAND: SCIAF is launching Young Caritas Scotland, a new movement for young adults who want to put their faith into action, meet likeminded people from the global church, and help build a better world. . FAMILY CONFERENCE: The Agency for Marriage, Family and Life of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland have organised a Conference. Married couples and families are invited to a day at St Augustine's, Coatbridge on the 24th of October 2026! NEWMAN ASSOCIATION: Building peace in Babel –Burma’s future after five years of conflict - A talk by Dr Michael Marett-Crosby. CEO Suu Foundation: The Parish Hall, Immaculate Conception Church, 2049 Maryhill Road, Glasgow, G20 0AA at 7.30pm on Thursday 1st October 2026 All welcome. Refreshments provided.
PRIMARY SCHOOL MASS: The Archdiocese are hosting a Mass for all Primary Schools in our area on Tuesday 22nd September at 10.30am in St Andrew's Cathedral. The Principal Celebrant will be His Grace, Archbishop William Nolan. Each primary school has been invited to send along 4 pupil representatives and the children will be accompanied by their school RE Coordinator or a member of the Senior Management Team.
